The Foundation

The Serbatik Method

The Serbatik Method is a synthesis of multiple martial arts traditions — Pekiti Tirsia Kali, Pentjak Silat Serak, Jun Fan Gung Fu, Jeet Kune Do, Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu, Wing Chun, Tai Chi Chuan, and more — unified through a single coherent training philosophy. Rather than studying these arts in isolation, Serbatik integrates them into a progressive curriculum that develops the complete practitioner: mind, body, and spirit.

Your first visit
Meet your instructor one-on-one, learn about the art, try fundamental movements, and discuss your goals in a no-pressure environment.
Foundation Phase
Months 1-6
Your instructor builds your base: stances, footwork, basic techniques, breathing, and conditioning. Sessions are paced to your body and learning style.
Development Phase
Months 6-18
Expand your technical vocabulary with combinations, takedowns, traditional forms, and controlled sparring. Your program deepens based on your evolving goals.
Advanced & Ongoing
18+ months
Refine advanced technique, explore weapons, pursue competition goals, or simply deepen your practice. At this stage, training becomes an ongoing partnership.
