What to Expect

Before Your Session

Wear comfortable athletic clothing. Bring water. Silat is traditionally practiced barefoot, but training shoes are welcome if you prefer.

During Your Session

Your instructor will walk you through Serbatik's approach, assess your current fitness level, teach you 3-4 fundamental movements, and answer all your questions. About 45 minutes.

After Your Session

No pressure. If it feels right, we'll walk you through membership options and help you find the right program. If you need time to think, that's respected.

Absolutely not. Most of our students had zero martial arts experience when they started. Our Foundation curriculum is specifically designed for complete beginners, and our instructors are experienced at teaching people who have never thrown a punch or practiced a stance before.

In most cases, yes. Our instructors are trained in movement modification and progressive loading. During your intro session, we'll discuss any injuries or limitations and design a plan that works with your body, not against it.
Session packs are valid for 90 days from purchase. Monthly programs are month-to-month with no long-term contracts — you can cancel at any time with 30 days notice. Individual sessions can be rescheduled with 24 hours notice.
